The Benefits Of Lasers
Lasers ARE NOT just for hair removal!!! But I have to tell you – it’s my favorite laser treatment! The first treatment is the most noticeable. I’d say I’ve obtained permanent hair reduction of at least by 50%. As the hair cycles through it’s growth, additional hair is visiable and the next treatment zaps that away. This is why it takes several treatments to become baby smooth. But don’t let htat keep you from starting!
As an illustration, in this video I had just had my underarms done. Prior to the treatment I would literally have 5 o’clock shadow even right after shaving. It was so embarrassing to wear sleeveless tops. After just this initial treatment I can now go 2 – 3 days without shaving! I may or may not have a 2nd treatment. Other areas like the bikini have also responded well. I’ve had three treatments and most of the hair is gone – just waiting for it to ‘cycle through’.
As we age, the effects of sun damage and environmental pollutants begin to take their toll on our skin, creating lines and wrinkles on our faces. Laser resurfacing can help minimize fine lines as they begin to occur, particularly those that form around the mouth and eyes. Laser treatments can be tailored to a variety of other skin problems as well.
Personally, I’ve had the Trinity Laser performed at Ambrosia Med Spa. I’ve had 2 procedures and really noticed the results – immediately. The fine lines around my eyes seem to be less noticeable – the skin seems firmer. I have quite a few little brown spots that have disappeared as well. The folks at Ambrosia Med Spa say that you need to have it done 3 times to see optimal results. I’m so happy with it that I just scheduled another Trinity Laser Procedure!
I also received laser treatments for very dark under eye circles. Thanks to my Italian heritage, ever since I’ve been little I’ve looked like I was hit in the eyes with a baseball. One laser treatment reduced this to the point I now just wear a little concealer powder!
Laser resurfacing is a relatively new method of improving skin texture and appearance. In many situations, it can provide the doctor with more control over the penetration of the skin than other resurfacing treatments, such as chemical peels and derm-abrasion. In addition to skin resurfacing, lasers can sometimes be used to remove facial scars, acne scars, and unwanted hair.
If you’re considering laser resurfacing, and more detailed information about how this procedure may help you, we recommend that you consult a board-certified physicians with experience in laser resurfacing.
